It comes as no surprise that there is a great deal in the news about wildfires in BC and around the world. Our strata has been involved with the FireSmart local FireSmart program for several years now providing red bin service twice a year for the disposal of yard waste.
The attached PDF’s of the FireSmart Homeowner’s Manual and the FireSmart BC Landscaping Manual provide important information as to how you can FireSmart your home and your private property.
Homeowners who are renting properties in Long Lake Estates are asked to share these PDF’s with their current renters and all new renters in the future. All new homeowners will receive the attached PDF’s as part of the welcome package to Long Lake Estates.
Working together to protect our forests and private properties will make a difference if we ever do experience a wildfire in our community.
