Due to several concerns posted on our Facebook page about speeding on Summit Drive, Council members completed a count of speed limit signage last weekend. Based on this count, additional signage has been ordered. Once signage is installed, homeowners should report any further concerns to our Strata Manager, Lisa Maniquet, so the problem can be monitored.

We are hopeful that this will be the solution that will reduce speeding in the future. If not, more costly solutions will have to be considered including the contracting of a professional traffic study and/or the use of camera surveillance at certain areas along Summit Drive. The use of camera surveillance would require a vote of the homeowners at a general meeting to adopt a surveillance policy, which if approved, would form part of our Bylaws.
